15 days into the new year. 1/24 done with 2015. Boy, does time fly. I don’t have too much to talk about this week, I went to yoga again on Wednesday, and love my new instructor there. I can tell she truly cares and I know my mind and my body will continue to excel through her gentle and passionate instruction.
This mantra has been floating around in my head for a few days now, I tend to stress myself out if things aren’t going to plan… the “plan” usually being my own made up way of how I think things should go. I’m working towards being more open to “just going with the flow,” though I know it’s going to take courage to get there. I also know the meditative part of my weekly yoga classes will also help me to just breathe and let go.
I saw this poster on why cat’s are awesome, and agree with it all! The butt part made me laugh so hard I nearly started choking. The text below that is what James sent me the other day, he made a nest for Jasper on the couch. My heart melts. The picture below that is Jasper cuddling up to the little stuffed lion we have. He bit it and kicked it first, then cuddled it and fell asleep.
I am about to change clothes and run to KCRC, then run another 4 miles with the amazing Groupies. It is 48 degrees outside today, AMAZING! I hope to put in about 5.5 or 6 miles tonight with the additional run to the store. I’ve never ran to the store to go to a group run before, so I’m sure I’ll be feeling the extra miles, but I’m excited for the additional challenge.
